The wavy IKEA wall mirror, known as the Crab Mirror, is a long mirror with wavy outer dimensions. It can hang vertically or horizontally and its light makes it easy to hang on almost all surfaces. The company supplies mounting brackets with mirrors, so the only additional necessary supplies are nails or screws to mount brackets.
Determine the location where you want to mount the mirror. Move the mirror across different locations and experiment with both horizontal and vertical guidelines until you find the setup you’d like to use. Once the location is selected, determine which method is used to hang the IKEA wall mirror. If you mount a mirror in a stud in the wall, a nail is enough to mount fittings. If you hang the mirror on drywall, a threaded screw is best.

Hammer or screw the two upper brackets are supplied together with an IKEA wall mirror in the wall. Verify the first two fittings are placed evenly using a bubble level. Slide the mirror under the top two brackets. Have an assistant hold the mirror instead of the two brackets while mounting the remaining two brackets on the mirror. When fittings are mounted, the mirror will remain locked in place.
