Living room shutters – These slots mount on the inner edges of window lining to close the woodwork for a uniform look. The slots may be full length or only cover the lower half of the window. It is important to take time with the installation process as you can damage the woodwork around windows if you have to move the hinges.

Hold the gaps, one at a time, in the window opening. Align each gap so that it is centered. Mark the mounting holes in the living room shutters frame side of the hinges on the window frame with a pen. Move shutters away from the window. Drill holes in the middle of each pen marking follow the same procedure as in Step 2.
Place the covers in place again in the window opening. Align the hinges with the pilot holes inside the edges of the window cover. Run the supplied screws through the mounting holes in each hinge in the window cover with a screwdriver to secure the hatches in place. Open and close living room shutters. Adjust the position of the hinges by loosening the screws and moving them up or down in the slotted fastening holes. Once you have adjusted the adjustment to open the shutters, tighten the screws.
