Also known as undercounted sinks, mounted from under the surface of a solid counter, such as granite, stone or man-made material and do not have a “rim”. To install this sink style you might need a mounting kit.
This is a free-standing sink located on their own base. They are usually large for everyday use and beautifully arranged. Pedestal sinks are perfect for small bathrooms and dressing rooms because they save space but don’t offer storage space underneath. When choosing a pedestal, make sure to consider the end of the plumbing that opens below it.
Ship Style Sink
Also known as a sink on the table, a vessel sink can be mounted on a carved shelf that brilliantly has your own bathroom design. This style offers attractive new shapes, designs and colors, and free standing in the closet to make a big fashion statement. The wall-mounted faucet works well in this sink style, but some manufacturers offer stand tempered glass faucets that hold up to glass vessels and hide the base of the deck-mounted faucet. Some ships are produced with abundance but most are without overflow, so drainage must be installed to prevent accidental filling.
The Sink Console combines the pedestal style while at the same time providing a larger counter area. The sink and table are one. Because of the larger counter area, the sink console is equipped with (2) or (4) feet for support. This style offers many choices in the size and style of the sink; oval, rectangular, square and round, and you can choose a single or double bowl. They are easy to clean and offer additional space. Standard sizes are available and special orders can be placed.
Wall Hung Sinks
Mounted on the wall, they save floor space and cabinets. Like pedestal lavatories, they are very popular in smaller bathrooms. They can be installed at any height and are usually offered with an optional towel bar.
